UBUNTU PHILOSOPHY SCHOOL – 2nd Edition Accra
Following its inaugural edition in Dakar, the Ubuntu Philosophy School continues its pan-African journey, setting up camp in Accra, Ghana, from July 27th to 29th, 2026, on the sidelines of the World Social Forum.
Organized by the Kilimo Ekolojia movement, this second edition brings together activists, researchers, community leaders, and pan-Africanist movements from 10 African countries, with the participation of more than 15 engaged movements across the continent.
Center for Opportunities and Rural Development-CORD-GHANA among other organizations is participating in this event and contributing to its organization, as a member of the Kilimo Ekolojia movement.
At the heart of the discussions, a key theme: “The Ubuntu Philosophy and the Challenges of Reparations in Africa: Reflections and Perspectives”
Through this school, the Kilimo Ekolojia movement aims to strengthen Pan-African dynamics, reconnect historical struggles to contemporary challenges, and make Ubuntu a living philosophy at the service of transforming our societies.
