At Active Youth Global, we believe that creating sustainable impact goes beyond implementing projects, it also requires continuously strengthening our institutional capacity and staying ahead of emerging challenges.

We are proud that our Programs Coordinator, Abraham McDonald Bugri, successfully participated in the Digital Security and Protection Training (Cohort 4) organized by the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) in collaboration with the Civic Space Resource Hub (CSR-HUB) and facilitated by PenplusBytes.

The training provided practical knowledge on digital security, cyber threats, risk assessment, threat modelling, phishing prevention, AI in digital security, and the development of organizational digital security policies. These are essential competencies for civil society organizations working to protect their people, data, operations, and the communities they serve.

As an organization committed to youth development and social impact, we recognize that digital resilience is no longer optional, it is fundamental to effective, accountable, and sustainable programming.

We extend our sincere appreciation to WACSI, the Civic Space Resource Hub, and PenplusBytes, especially the facilitators Emmanuel Koranteng Asomani and Rebecca Avusu for delivering such an insightful and practical learning experience.

Empowering Youth, Transforming Africa.

Active Youth Global was proud to participate in the 6th African Youth SDGs Summit in Accra, joining young leaders, policymakers, innovators, development practitioners, and changemakers from across the continent to advance conversations and action towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The summit provided a unique platform for collaboration, learning, and meaningful dialogue on some of Africa’s most pressing challenges. It reinforced the power of young people as drivers of innovation, policy, and sustainable development.

For us, this was more than attending a conference; it was an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to conversations that matter. Through our partnership with AfriYAN Ghana , we actively engaged in discussions on gender equality, youth-responsive policies, and inclusive development, sharing perspectives and advocating for solutions that empower young people across Africa.

Beyond the sessions, the summit created valuable opportunities to build new partnerships, exchange ideas with inspiring organizations and leaders, and strengthen our commitment to youth-led development.

At Active Youth Global, we believe that meaningful change happens when young people are given the opportunity to participate, lead, and influence decisions that shape their future. The summit reaffirmed our commitment to amplifying youth voices, promoting equality, and supporting initiatives that create lasting impact in our communities.

Together, we will continue to champion youth leadership, foster strategic partnerships, and work towards an Africa where every young person has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to sustainable development.
