Through our Recycle Up Plastic Project, Ummy Relief Foundationis working directly with schools like to collect, manage, and transform plastic waste into valuable resources.

Watching these kids make their own soap from scratch was one of the best feelings ever 🧼

Last Saturday we pulled up to 's Home with one goal to teach, not to donate.

We spent the day with the and the (13 and above) learning how to make liquid soap, antiseptic, and shower gel from scratch. And honestly? They picked it up fast. Like, really fast. 👏🏾

Then on Monday we went back because one day wasn't enough. We wanted them to actually practice, feel confident, and own what they learned. Not just watch. DO.

And that's kind of the whole point of Seed of Hope.

We're not here to make orphanages dependent on the next donation. We're here to build something that lasts skills they can use, grow, and even turn into income one day.

The smiles on their faces during practice on Monday? That's all the motivation we need to keep going. 💛

They don’t need pity. They need belief.

Tomorrow, we head to Children’s Home not just to give, but to equip.
Through soap making and model farming, we are empowering orphanages with sustainable food gardens and vocational skills training building self-reliant and brighter futures for children.

Because these children are not defined by where they started.
They are seeds and with the right support, they will grow into something extraordinary.

This is Seed of Hope a collaborative project by the Club of Tamale, Ummy Relief Foundation, Scheveningen and the Rotary Club of Sidney by the Sea changing the narrative, one child at a time.
