By Faith Charity Foundation was birthed out of By Faith Catering Services with support from Friends and loved ones in 2013 to support the Poor, Vulnerable, Aged, and Home-bound. It initially was referred to as the By Faith Family and Friends Reach-out. The Foundation on annual basis brings together the poor, needy, vulnerable, and home-bound in and around Tamale to a common venue where they are en
tertained with food, drinks, and good music to dance off their challenges in life. These gatherings are also used to encourage them not to give up on whatever situation they might have found themselves in, but to look at the brighter side of life, knowing that they are not the only ones in such situations. This support has continued with the support of Friends and Loved ones over the years who bought into the idea enabling the foundation to expand the coverage every year. The Foundation also supports the education of children from poor and less privileged homes by helping pay their school fees and/or providing basic items required to facilitate their learning. The Foundation over the years has observed and learned that rural communities have either not heard of Christ and/or have no proper place of worship to meet on Sundays, as a result, have begun the crusade to support such rural communities through philanthropic assistance. This is in response to the great commission of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20. By Faith Charity Foundation call on all well-meaning people of any nationality, race, or ethnicity to support in whatever small way to put smiles on the faces of our brothers and sisters, and "then the King will say to the people on his right, 'Come, you that are blessed by my Father! Come and possess the kingdom which has been prepared for you ever since the Creation of the world. I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you received me in your homes, naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me, in prison and you visited me".
