EMPOWERING YOUNG WOMEN IN ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES.

On 23rd June 2025, the Executive Director of FoWED, Madam Juliet Baloon Bonjak was honoured to serve as a panelist during the celebration of the 2025 Women in Engineering Day organized by Women in Engineering (WinE) at the Tamale Technical Institute.

The event honores the brilliant minds and bold spirits of women engineers who continues to break barriers and build the future. The Women in Engineering day serves, not only as a tribute but also as a powerful reminder of the untapped potentials within every girl and woman in this world.

To the young girls dreaming beyond limits, and to the women standing at the crossroads of career choices, engineering needs your perspective, your creativity, and your voice. The world’s greatest challenges in technology, sustainability, health, and infrastructure call for diverse minds and inclusive innovation.

Pursuing engineering is more than a career choice, it's a statement of courage, curiosity, and commitment to change. Let's step into this path not because it's easy, but because you are capable. With every bridge built, code written, machine designed, and solution discovered, you are shaping a better world for all.
Let us encourage, mentor, and empower the next generation of women engineers.

Dear women in Engineering, thank you for giving us the courage to think, thrive and be problem solvers.

We celebrate you today.
