We need a paradigm shift in our advocacy on . Domestic violence must be seen as a shared social responsibility. Men should not be invited into the conversation as spectators or helpers. They are stakeholders in building safer homes and healthier communities.

Domestic violence is not a women's issue. It is also a men's issue, a family issue, a community issue and a leadership issue. When we tell society that it is women's business, many disengage before the conversation even begins. Prevention becomes someone else's responsibility.

Violence in the home affects everyone. It shapes how children grow, how communities function and how future relationships are formed. Silence and indifference allow abuse to continue across generations.

Ask yourself: if domestic violence destroys families, why should its prevention belong to only one gender?

Gender-based violence is not only the responsibility of survivors or law enforcement.

It is everyone's responsibility.

IMPACT MADE, FUTURE INNOVATORS INSPIRED!

On Wednesday, 24th June 2026, GEM-GHANA in partnership with ISIR GHANA successfully carried out the Project at two partner basic schools in the Tamale Metropolis:

๐Ÿ“ Zosimli Girls Model JHS
๐Ÿ“ Tamale Metro Girls Model JHS

Through engaging hands-on STEAM activities, students were introduced to exciting opportunities in STEAM. The sessions encouraged creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while inspiring young learners to see themselves as future innovators and change-makers.

We are grateful to our partner schools, facilitators, and stakeholders whose support made this impactful outreach possible.
Together, we are building a generation of thinkers, creators, and innovators.
