What if periods affected everyone?

This Menstrual Hygiene Day, GEM-GHANA challenges us to imagine a world where menstrual health is treated with the attention, respect, and support it deserves.

What would change?
Free menstrual products? Better education?
Greater understanding of period pain?
An end to stigma and silence?

Menstruation is a natural part of life for millions of girls and women, yet many still face shame, misinformation, and barriers to essential care.

This , let’s continue advocating for a future where every girl and young person can access menstrual health services, speak openly without fear, and live with dignity and confidence.

Together, we can break the silence, challenge the stigma, and create lasting change.

What happened at Bethany MA JHS on 19th May 2026 was bigger than LEGO models. Young minds learned teamwork, problem-solving, resilience, and creativity through hands-on STEAM learning.

Watching students rebuild after failure and demand more challenges proved one thing clearly: talent is everywhere; opportunity is not.

Proud to partner ISIR GHANA in shaping future innovators of the world.

Health awareness without access saves nobody. That is why GEM-GHANA is taking action through its in the .

Today, our team made a stop at Zujung, a suburb of the Tamale Metro. 30 women are expected to undergo free breast and cervical cancer screening as part of efforts to promote early detection, health education and preventive care among women and girls.

Too many women continue to suffer silently because of fear, stigma, poverty and limited access to screening services. Early detection remains one of the strongest weapons against cancer.

Communities grow stronger when women are healthy, informed and supported. Prevention is not a luxury; it is a necessity that must reach every community.

At GEM-GHANA, we believe that integrity is not taught by slogans and speeches; it is shaped through conversations, mentorship, accountability and example.

Boys become responsible men when society stops mocking values and starts modelling them consistently.

This , let us raise boys who choose honesty over hype, discipline over excuses and character over applause.

Stress is silently affecting the mental health and productivity of many young people in our communities.

Through GEM-GHANA’s upcoming on Stress Management, we are creating safe spaces for education, support, and healing. Your active participation will help us sustain impactful mental health conversations, reach vulnerable youth, and connect communities to professionals who can guide them toward healthier lives.
