The King's Village, Ghana is a Christian run organization which seeks the total well-being of the unreached and underprivileged as a foundation for sustained development, equipping and e
mpowering them to transform their own lives and communities. We serve the poor regardless of ethnicity, race, gender or religious beliefs. The King's Village use a holistic method to ministering among the poor adopting an integrated approach to community development, which simultaneously addresses several root causes of poverty and disadvantage in communities namely - lack of clean water, quality education, affordable and quality healthcare as well as training in vocational and micro-enterprise development. Founded and pioneered by Ben and Marion Owusu-Sekyere in Northern Ghana in 2003 with the support of the Christian Centre, Nottingham, now Heart Church, Nottingham, the King's Village is now partnering and working together with individuals, families, churches, local and international organisations and most importantly members of the local communities to address these interconnected issues ensuring that our activities impact individuals and communities and help them reap lasting and compounded benefits of improved health and life chances as well as break out of the cycle of poverty.
