🌍💚 Happy World Environment Day! 💚🌍
Today, we join the world in celebrating our shared home—the Earth—and recommit to protecting it through our everyday actions.

At Goshen Global Vision, our mission is rooted in environmental stewardship. From planting over 650,000 native and fruit trees from cocoa agroforestry to planting in the Subri River forest reserve and Ankasa forest reserve to promoting agroecology, alternative livelihoods, and sustainable farming practices, we believe in solutions that work with nature, not against it. 🌱🌳🐝

This year's theme reminds us: "Our land. Our future."
Whether it's restoring degraded farms, turning waste into compost, protecting biodiversity, or engaging communities in conservation, every action counts. Together, we can reverse land degradation, fight climate change, and ensure a greener, more resilient future for all. 🌾🌎✨

Let’s not just celebrate the environment—let’s defend it. One tree, one farm, one community at a time.

🐝 First Honey Harvest at Akrofi! 🍯✨

Our beekeeping beneficiaries have reached an exciting milestone—their first honey harvest! 🎉 Thanks to support from USFS (U.S. Forest Service), they have been trained in:

✅ Harvesting honeycombs from beehives 🏡
✅ Extracting pure, golden honey 🍯
✅ Testing honey quality for excellence ✅
✅ Packaging for market-ready products 📦

Nothing goes to waste! The remaining combs are being transformed into natural beeswax for even more sustainable products. 🌿💛

This is more than just honey—it's empowerment, sustainability, and a step towards climate-smart agriculture! 🌍

Happy Farmers' Day to the backbone of our communities! 🌍✨

Today, we celebrate the incredible resilience, innovation, and dedication of farmers who bring food to our tables and life to our land. From dawn till dusk, through changing seasons and climates, our farmers work tirelessly, adopting sustainable practices, and protecting our soil and water for future generations.

Let's show our appreciation for their efforts to enhance food security, promote sustainable agriculture, and keep our ecosystems thriving. Thank you to every farmer for your commitment, your strength, and your contribution to a better world. 🌾💚

🌳🌍 Green Ghana with GGV! 🌍🌳

Urbanization, illegal mining, logging, and oil exploration are rapidly depleting Ghana's greenery. This environmental degradation results in poor air quality, increased soil erosion, reduced soil fertility, and rising urban temperatures, all contributing to global warming and climate change.

To combat this, the Green Ghana project was launched, empowering Ghanaians to protect their environment for future generations. Since 2021, Goshen Global Vision (GGV) has been at the forefront of this mission, dedicated to preserving Ghana’s natural beauty.

We engage communities and youth in conservation efforts to foster a sense of environmental responsibility. Recently, GGV planted trees at the University of Mines and Technology (UMAT) and St. Theresa’s Catholic School. Together with students and staff, we ensured the survival of these seedlings by protecting them with nets and sticks, embodying our motto: “We Grow Trees, Not Just Plant Trees.” This approach emphasizes consistent and effective monitoring to help these trees thrive.

Our efforts showcase our passion and capability in greening urban, peri-urban, and rural landscapes in Sekondi-Takoradi. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsor, the US Forest Service, for supporting us in achieving our goals.

World Environment Day is not just a day; it's a celebration of the very essence of life itself. It's a tribute to nature, to our lush forests teeming with life, to the diverse tapestry of species that call our planet home. It's a celebration of the rich tapestry of cultures and languages that weave together to form the intricate fabric of humanity.

But most importantly, it's a celebration of you—each and every individual who takes a stand for our planet, who becomes a steward of the environment, safeguarding it for future generations. It's a recognition of the tireless efforts of our local superheroes, the unsung champions who combat climate change and advocate for a sustainable future.

At Goshen Global Vision , we're proud to be part of this collective effort. That's why we're commemorating this day at Anaji MA Basic School, where we'll be planting trees that will stand as a symbol of our commitment for years to come. Funded by the U.S. Forest Service we're joined by esteemed partners like the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly , the Ghana Education Service, the Environmental Protection Agency, Ghana Police Service, the NADMO EKMA, and the traditonal government represented by the Queen Mother of ANAJI and other key stakeholders, all united in our mission to protect our planet.

Together with the dedicated staff and students of the school, and with you, the general public, we're taking meaningful action to preserve our environment and build a better world for our children and the generations to come. Because while we've made great strides in protecting our planet, there's still so much more we can do. Let's join hands and pave the way for a brighter, greener future for all.

🌿🚗 Feeling stressed from life's responsibilities or recovering from an illness? Take a rejuvenating drive along the road medians in for a relaxing experience! 🌳✨

For the past 5 years, Goshen Global Vision has been a dedicated champion of urban forestry. The benefits of greening urban spaces are immense and essential—they help dissipate urban heat, prevent flooding, produce fresh air, and create a calming, peaceful atmosphere while beautifying our cities. 🌱🏙️

In addition to beautifying schools, churches, and other public spaces, we identified our urban roads as areas in urgent need of a makeover. Almost everyone in Sekondi Takoradi and Effiakwanta uses these major roads, and any improvements will provide immediate and long-lasting benefits for our road users. 🚧🌿
With funding from the U.S. Forest Service and assistance from stakeholders like Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, Ghana and Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly, we embarked on growing carefully selected tree species and shrubs along these road medians. 🌳💧 Our journey began in 2022, focusing on the road medians from Nkroful Junction to Apollo and from Takoradi Technical University(TTU) to Fijai Junction.

At , we don't just plant trees—we grow trees! 🌳🌱 Constant monitoring ensured our goal survival rate of 100%. Despite challenges like grazing animals, reckless drivers, and even a mentally challenged woman using the median as her home, we persevered. 💪🌳

A few weeks ago, part of our plants were burnt, but our commitment never wavered. We began replacement planting in May 2024, leveraging the rainy season to establish these seedlings properly. 🌧️🌱

GGV is relentless in our pursuit of a 100% survival rate for all the trees we plant. Our dedication benefits our citizens, our environment, and our planet. 🌍💚
Join us in making Sekondi Takoradi greener and more beautiful! 🌳✨ 🌿🌍🌳
