PRESENTATION OF HEALTH FUND & FLOOD/FIRE RELIEF SUPPORT TO MEMBERS OF GRNMA – EFFIA KWESIMINTSIM MUNICIPAL

The Western Regional Branch of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), on behalf of the National Leadership, has once again demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of its members through the GRNMA Health Fund and Flood & Fire relief.

A total of GHS 27,000 has been presented to members to support their medical and welfare needs. GHS 15,000 was presented to Mrs. Sarah Armah of SDA Hospital to assist with her medical bills, while GHS 6,000 was presented in support of Ms. Veronica Johnson of Asakae CHPS and Ms. Doris Botchwey of Kwesimintsim Hospital respectively for flood-related support on the 8th September, 2026.

The cheques were presented by representatives of the Regional and District Executives on behalf of the National President, Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, together with the Regional Chairman and other District Executives. The presentation was also supported by the Assistant Nurse Manager of Kwesimintsim Hospital.

These interventions, among many others, are made possible through the GRNMA Health Fund, instituted to cater to the health and welfare needs of members of the Association.

The beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude to the National President, National Leadership, Regional and District Executives for their support and commitment to ensuring that members benefit from the Fund.

The Nurse Manager of Kwesimintsim Hospital also commended the Association for its remarkable support to members, noting that such initiatives serve as a great motivation and encouragement to staff who may find themselves in challenging circumstances.

The Executives were further commended for their proactiveness and commitment to member welfare, while members were encouraged to share and propagate the good news about the GRNMA Health Fund within their facilities and beyond.
