Textile waste management project implemented by SE-Hub Ghana and its partners, AMD Akademie Mode & Design (AMD) and Takoradi Technical University - TTU.

Students were introduced to sustainability and circularity, creating awareness about the textile waste problem and how to address it in Ghana and Germany through sustainable approaches. The focus was on waste generated during the sewing process, after the Sekondi-Takoradi masquerade carnival, and from second-hand clothing.

The beneficiaries met at the Aya Community Centre in Azulewanu, Western Region, to close the Adwumawura Training Program after weeks of intensive training.

The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme-NEIP through its Adwumawura Programme, aims to provide business development training, access to funding, mentorship, market support, and year-round business advisory services to Ghanaian youth in collaboration with the Social Entrepreneurship Hub Ghana.

This initiative will support both new start-ups and existing small businesses.
