Since 1986, Rotary and our partners have immunized billions of children across the globe saving them from the ravages of polio on their lives, their families and society. We are this close. Tuesday, August 26 @ Conference, Hall Mandela Restaurant
We had the privilege of hosting our District Governor Nana Yaa Siriboe as she came to visit the two clubs in Rotary Club of Sunyani-Central, D9104 and Rotary Club of Sunyani East - Official. She stressed on membership growth and development, building an inviting club culture, contribution to the Rotary Foundation and portraying a positive public image of Rotary. She noted the work we have done in projects and urged us to continue to serve our communities. We are grateful for her visit and fellowship.

Tuesday, 8th July, 2025 at Mandela Restaurant Conference Hall, Sunyani.
We had the official handing over of leadership of the club to Rotarian Dzifa Agbedra at our Tuesday weekly meeting. We congratulate Rtn. Jones Lewis Arthur on a job well done for 2024-2025, and warmly welcome Rtn. Dzifa into office as President for 2025-2026. She brings on board 14 years of Rotary membership and experience.
She joined the club in 2011 and was assigned the classification of Disaster Management. She has served in many roles, including Treasurer, Director of Service Projects and Chair of the club's Rotary Foundation Committee. She is noted for introducing day-born fundraising, which significantly improved the club's contribution to the Rotary Foundation and adopted by our district. We are excited to have her lead us this Rotary year. Congratulations to Rtn. Dzifa and her team.

Wednesday, 9th July, 2025 at Atronie near Sunyani. We began the WATSAN and hygiene training for the first set of beneficiaries of our water and sanitation grant with Rotary District 7770. We had 15 participants from 2 schools and 1 community beneficiary. Next up on Wednesday, 16th July, is the training for the second set of 7 beneficiaries.
