Initiative Black and White Ghana promotes the implementation of social and political human rights in Ghana and advocates that all Ghanaians get the human rights, which they are entitled after the global Constitution, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights since 1948. The association promotes the awareness that Ghanaians can only achieve through their own commitment to building their society, th
eir economy and their country the implementation of human rights. The association promotes the interconnection of all people living across all ethnic or religious differences in Ghana to achieve these goals. Black & White Ghana also promotes African and global association for the construction of a just and peaceful Africa and a peaceful and just world with the same political and social human rights for all people in Africa and around the world in the spirit of the UN Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Association advocates the strengthening of the African Union for intra-African cooperation in the spirit of the UN Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and for the strengthening of the United Nations for global cooperation to achieve these goals. We are advocating for greater democratization of the two organizations. We see in civil society involvement and association of citizens the ultimate means to move the Ghanaian government and the international community to engage with their decisions to create decent life for all, and to resolve conflicts only peacefully and ban violence and wars. The association seeks therefore also the dialogue with the state level.
