According to Sanitation and Water for All - a UNICEF-hosted global partnership , climate-resilient Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services are those that anticipate, respond to, cope with, recover from, adapt to, or transform in response to climate-related events and trends. They ensure universal and equitable access to safely managed services even under unstable and uncertain climate conditions, while reducing emissions where appropriate and prioritizing vulnerable populations.

At AAP, our priority is designing WASH services that are climate resilient, to serve our communities in these uncertain times. ..That Africa Might Be Saved!

Recent flooding in Ghana is a reminder of how quickly WASH systems can be disrupted by climate extremes.
Too much water floods facilities and contaminates water sources, while polluted runoff increases health risks. After the floods, many communities are left with damaged infrastructure and unsafe water.
This is why climate-resilient WASH systems are essential, designed to protect services and keep water safe even during floods and droughts.

Our environment is our life, our health, and our future. From the air we breathe to the water we drink and the land that feeds us, every action we take has an impact.
Let’s choose responsibility over convenience. Plant a tree, reduce plastic use, protect water sources, and keep our surroundings clean.
Small actions, when multiplied by many people, create real change.
Take part today and every day. The environment needs all of us.

Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.

On 28th May, we commemorated Menstrual Hygiene Day by engaging female students in selected schools in Sunyani on menstrual health. We held open conversations to correct common cultural myths and shared practical menstrual hygiene practices to support their wellbeing.

Each girl also received a month supply of sanitary pads to help them manage their menstruation safely and confidently, ensuring that no girl misses school due to lack of menstrual products.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our partners, Zenith Bank Sunyani, Fidelity Bank Sunyani, and Bismark Roofing for their generous support in making this initiative possible...That Africa Might Be Saved!

International Day for Biological Diversity reminds us that nature is not separate from our survival.

Healthy ecosystems give us clean water, fresh air, food on our tables, and even the medicines we depend on when we fall sick. When biodiversity thrives, life thrives.

But when forests are degraded, rivers polluted, and species lost, those same systems that sustain us begin to fail.

Today is a reminder to protect what already protects us. Every action counts, from how we use land, to how we consume, to how we care for our natural spaces.

Protect biodiversity. Protect life
