A delegation from Wensah foundation International and Ms Brainy Attaa-Pokuah,a tutor at Royal Palm Special School....Florida,USA paid a courtesy visit to the Nyamaah Special School Unit in Sunyani on the 2nd of July 2026 to discuss long-standing developmental and structural gaps.
This visit is meant to build strategic collaboration between the teachers and Royal Palm Special School,Florida-USA and as well assist the school with urgent facility expansion,educational materials and other developmental projects.
The visit culminated in a facility tour and an interactive session with the school management and formal commitment to bolster the unit's strategic collaboration between Royal Palm Special School..Florida-USA and Nyamaah Special School..Sunyani-Ghana.
Ms Brainy Attaa-Pokuah and Wensah Foundation pledged to organize educational training sessions for her colleague tutors at Nyamaah Special School during her one month stay in Sunyani before she leaves for America to start working assiduously on the strategic partnership we praying for.

Yesterday,28th May 2026,our team marked The World Menstrual Hygiene Day with over 150 pupils from both Nyamaah Basic and St Patrick Schools In the Sunyani Municipality.
Each of the girls received pieces of sanitary pads to manage their menses.As the CEO,I advised the girls to eschew pre-marital s*x,urging not to allow themselves to be lured into s*x just to acquire sanitary pads,and thus, pre-marital and unhealthy s*x could truncate their education and thereby ruin their future.
I entreated the girls to take menstruation as normal and a natural phenomenon,hence they need not to feel inferior but rather stay confident and devoid themselves from any stigmatization.
Mrs Felicia Konadu,a health promotion Manager at the Sunyani Municipal Directorate of Health gave an advise to the adolescent girls not to be using synthetic-made panties during menstruation since it exposes them to high risk of infections.Madam Rebecca Addo,a lecturer at the Tanoso Community Nursing Training School took the girls through menstrual hygiene education and demonstration as to how pads are being fixed into their panties during menstruation period.
Again,the Bono Regional NADMO Director,Madam Fati kine-Lam advised the beneficiaries to endeavor in using lime to clean their sensitive parts during their period of menstruation in order to stay themselves away from body odour.
I thereby make a humble plea to government to improve sanitary facilities like changing rooms in basic Schools to sustain the interest of girls to learn during menstruation...

One of our key missions is to contribute to the developmental growth of Sunyani.It has therefore become necessary for the NGO to thrive on its vision by bringing on board established Institutions within the region to execute their Corporate Social Responsibilities(CSR).Our partnership with Prestodea Glass Ghana yielded a very positive results with them renovating the reception at the Sunyani Traditional Council into a modernized standard with their own resources.God bless Oderfour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor Ababio || for the opportunity and believing in Wensah foundation International..
