HIGHER LIFE FOUNDATIONS-GH CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR STUDENTS’ ENTREPRENEURS
_Background_
The Higher Life Foundations-GH is a registered non-governmental organization based in the Jaman North District of Ghana, with a core mandate of redefining three major pillars of life (health, education, business/ commerce). We strongly believe that paying maximum attention to these pillars of life would enhance the wellbeing of our people especially Jaman North District and Ghana as a whole.
The Higher Life Foundations Business Consult would like to support Students entrepreneurs with a startup capital to fully realize their entrepreneurship dreams.
The overarching objective of this program is to support student entrepreneurs with capital, train and equip them with the needed skills and coaching to fully realize their potentials.
Eligibility criteria
The candidate must be a Ghana Tertiary student who is currently schooling.
*Responsibilities and application process*
For the 2023 cohort, applicants must have applied and successfully gained admission into their respective tertiary schools. Qualified candidates should submit the underlisted documents to [email protected] or fill the online form https://forms.gle/kUrVEYqjmAxaWD8x8 by May 31, 2023 at 6:00pm.
• Updated CV
• Admission letter
• Excellent Business plan.
• Motivation statement indicating your passion for the business (150-250 words).
Please note that all shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a selection interview (in person or virtual). The date of the interview will be communicated after shortlisting.
Additional criteria that will be used to select the finalists include: (i) business feasibility; (ii) evidence of profitability of the business (iii) start-up capital (iv) personal character of the candidate (v) Being a member of the HIGHERLIFE FOUNDATIONS-Gh or Suma Tertiary Students’ Union may be an advantage.
The successful candidates will be supported with a capital ranging from GHC 500.00 to GHC 1,500.00 based on their proposed business.
