Blessed Bright Future is a children’s home for children in need that was established by Mr. Anim have six children, and aside from the home, their other professions are bead making and tie dying. Anim AKA "Mama Peace" was an orphan herself, and started the orphanage out of her love and care for the betterment of the lives of the children in similar situations as she was. ama Peace recently passed away in September, 2012. We lost a true ordinary hero that day, and the orphanage lives on in her memory. Currently, the home is staffed by the Anim family. The home is located in Asitey in the main city of Odumase/Somanya. It is about 2 hours from the capital, Accra. The main language is Krobos and the main occupations in the small community are bead making and farming. The orphanage is home to over 100 youth ranging from preschool to early twenties. While the home is overwhelmed with the amount of individuals it serves, the Anims would rather help as many as they can then turn them away. The Anim family has truly created a "family" for everyone they help, and the Bright Future family is a special one to be a part of. As we continue serving those around the local Somanya area, we strive to improve the lives of the children through providing a home, a family, shelter, food, and an education.
