WHEN SERVANTS OF GOD UNDER SATANIC ATTACK
1 “Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. 2 And the LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”
3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.
4 Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”
5 And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” ( Zechariah. 3:1-5 )
God always demonstrates His love to His people even in their state of undesirable situations. He is also aware of our weaknesses; and his willingness to rescue his servants who becomes victims of satanic attacks .
GOD REVEALS TO REDEEM AND NOT TO RIDICULED HIS SERVANTS
Why did the Lord showed Zechariah, the Prophet of God the state of Joshua, the high priest’s embarrassing appearance before the Angel of the Lord ?
To ridiculed him?
To reject him ?
Absolutely no!
The Lord always draws our attention to our neighbors or colleagues circumstances to offer helping hand , such as Zechariah, the Prophet ‘seeing’ a disturbing position of his colleague Minister of God , i e Joshua, the high Priest, spiritually clothed with dirty or filthy garments.
Ironically, Joshua’s ‘filthiness’ wasn’t deliberate, but a victim of Satanic manipulation to destroy his credibility.
Satan standing at Joshua’s right hand to be his adversary and to accuse him for his filthy reputation. Sometimes we unknowingly allowed satan uses us to damage ourselves to the advantage of the devil; instead of being our brothers keeper.
This is because Joshua was a redeemed captive, a “brand plucked out of the fire “. God is always in the business of redemption, through all generations of humanity .
HELP A BROTHER TAKE AWAY THE ‘BAD GARMENT’ AND NOT TO PUBLISH HIM NEGATIVELY
“He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments FROM HIM.” ( verse 4 )
God wanted us to extend supporting hands to each other when satan attacks an individual , and not accusations and blackmailing fingers .
YOU CAN SEE CLEAN PERSON IN FILTHY GARMENT
“See, I have removed your iniquity FROM YOU , and I will CLOTHE YOU with RICH ROBES. And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” ( Zechariah. 3:4,5 )
The one you are rejecting today because of what you are seeing or hearing, might not be properly seen in the eyes of a loving heart. The heart that really loves looks beyond physical appearance . While we were still sinners Christ died for us .
“For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” ( Rom. 5:6-8 )
Many potential workers ,Ministers and incredible people have been crashed out ; and lacking confidence for even to have a second chance to revive shining again due to Satanic influences from accusations and judgmental attitudes. Love is patient.
Prayer: I pray against every evil mechanism employed by Satan to cause disaffection, destroying your ministry, marriage, family, position, integrity, personality, accusations and backwardness in Jesus name. May the Lord robe you with riches and holiness and restore your God given assignment
