The year has been marked by meaningful interventions aimed at improving the well-being, education, livelihoods, leadership capacity, and environmental sustainability of children, young people, women, and communities in the Saboba district. Through the implementation and monitoring of various projects, we have strengthened community participation, created opportunities for learning and development, and supported vulnerable groups to improve their lives.

The Saboba Youth Center is currently preparing for the next planting activities as part of the Green My Community project, since the rainy season in northern Ghana runs from June through September. In the meantime, we’d like to give you a few updates on the other projects…

Over the week, the Saboba Child Parliament of the Saboba Youth Centre held its 7th Parliamentary Sitting at Saboba DA Jhs under the theme "Be it resolved that the rising crisis of youth drug abuse in the Saboba District is a direct failure of parental responsibility rather than a failure of government intervention."

Over the week, Saboba Child Parliament of the Saboba Youth Centre held its 6th Sitting under the theme "That this House urgently reviews the absolute ban on corporal punishment and paves the way for its strictly regulated reintroduction into our schools."
