There are conversations every couple remembers for the rest of their lives.

Not because they were dramatic.
But because they quietly changed the direction of their marriage.

Sometimes it's a conversation about finances.
Sometimes it's about children.
Sometimes it's deciding where to live.
Sometimes it's simply sitting together one evening and asking,
"What kind of marriage do we actually want to build?"

Those conversations shape far more than the big celebrations ever will.

They shape the ordinary days.
The routines.
The atmosphere of the home.
The way children grow up.
The legacy a family leaves behind.

I'm curious...
Looking back, what is one conversation that changed your life?

It doesn't have to be about marriage.

It could be with a parent.
A friend.
A teacher.
Or with God.

“But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.”
- Matthew 13:25

One phrase here has always arrested my attention: “While men slept...”

I’m sure you know Jesus wasn’t talking about physical sleep. He was revealing a spiritual principle: the enemy often looks for moments of carelessness, complacency, and spiritual neglect.

Not every loss happens because of a direct attack. Some things happen because vigilance was abandoned!

When prayer becomes occasional...When the Word becomes optional...When convictions become negotiable...When discernment becomes dull...

These are opportunities the enemy looks for to sow what was never planted by God.

Notice that the farmer had sown good seed.
The problem was not the seed; it was what happened while men slept.

The same is true today.

Marriages don’t suddenly drift.Convictions don’t disappear overnight.Compromise doesn’t happen at once.
It is often sown quietly, little by little, while spiritual alertness is lost.

That is why we must watch and pray. A vigilant believer is not a fearful believer. A vigilant believer is simply one who remains spiritually awake, discerning, and sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Ask yourself today:
Where have I become spiritually sleepy?Have I relaxed in prayer?Have I neglected the Word?Have I become comfortable with what once convicted me?

If so, WAKE UP! before the enemy sows what will later need uprooting.

Oh Abba, awaken every area of our lives that has grown spiritually dull. Keep us watchful, discerning, and steadfast, so that nothing contrary to Your will finds room to grow in our hearts. Teach us to remain alert until the very end.

A Kentucky radiation oncologist who has spent a quarter of a century studying near-death experiences says his research confirms that there is life after death.

Jeffrey Long, the founder of the Near-Death Experience Research Foundation, told Business Insider that he was studying how to best treat cancer using radiation when he stumbled across an article in the Journal of the American Medical Association describing near-death experiences.

"It stopped me in my tracks," he explained.

Some doors don't open because you knock harder.

They open after you have walked away.

The same is true of people.

We often believe that if someone doesn't value us, we simply haven't explained ourselves well enough. So we argue, sacrifice, forgive too quickly, and try even harder. But most people don't recognize value because you describe it. They recognize it because life eventually compares it.

Think about that.

The friend who took your loyalty for granted may only understand it after being betrayed.
The employee who left for a higher salary may discover that respect isn't included in every pay check.
The partner who chased excitement may eventually realise that peace is rarer than passion.

Life has a way of teaching lessons that words cannot.

Here's the hidden pattern: people don't always reject you. Sometimes they reject the version of you they think will always be there. Certainty makes people comfortable. Comfort often makes people careless.

Read that again.

Psychologists have long observed that people tend to appreciate things more after experiencing their absence. Familiarity can make genuine value invisible, while novelty can make ordinary things seem extraordinary. That doesn't excuse poor choices, but it helps explain them.

If someone comes back, it doesn't automatically mean they love you more than before. It may simply mean reality became a better teacher than you ever could.

Experience changes standards faster than advice.

Now comes the uncomfortable question.

If they returned today, would they be choosing you... or escaping the consequences of their own decisions? Think about it.

Now here comes another one.

Have you grown enough to recognise the difference between if they will choose you or escaping the consequences of not having you?

The greatest mistake isn't believing people can change.

It's believing that every change deserves another chance.

Most times, the change is a placeholder until another opportunity shows up.

Life often finishes the conversations people refused to have with you.

What do you think matters more when someone comes back: the sincerity of their return, or the wisdom you've gained while they were gone?

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye's journey to Christ is one of the most remarkable testimonies in modern Christian history.

Before becoming one of the world's most influential Christian leaders, he was a brilliant academic whose ambition was to become the youngest vice-chancellor of a Nigerian university. He was a lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Lagos and was deeply focused on academic success rather than ministry.

His Life Before Conversion

Born on March 2, 1942, in Ifewara, Osun State, Nigeria, Enoch Adeboye grew up in a very poor family. Despite the hardships, he excelled academically and eventually earned degrees in Mathematics. His dream was to rise to the pinnacle of academia, and by the early 1970s he was already a respected lecturer. He had been raised in the Anglican tradition and considered himself religious, but he later testified that he had never experienced a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Circumstances That Changed Everything

In 1973, a crisis struck his family. One of his daughters became seriously ill, and repeated efforts through orthodox medicine failed to bring healing. During this difficult period, a relative suggested that he and his wife visit a small church known as The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), led by Rev. Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi.

At first, Pastor Adeboye found the church unusual. The worship was loud and different from the orderly services he was accustomed to. Nevertheless, because he desperately wanted God to heal his daughter, he continued attending.

The Night of His Conversion

On July 29, 1973, during an evening service, Pastor Akindayomi preached a simple but powerful message about salvation, eternity, and the need for a personal relationship with Christ. Pastor Adeboye later recalled that he suddenly realized that despite all his academic accomplishments, he was spiritually unprepared for eternity.

In his own recollection, he said he realized:

"...it was possible to have all the Ph.Ds in the world and still be on the losing side."

Overwhelmed with conviction, he walked to the altar in tears and surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. He later described himself as "sobbing like a baby" as he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. That evening became the defining turning point of his life.

A New Direction

Following his conversion, Pastor Adeboye became completely devoted to spiritual growth. Because he was fluent in English and Pastor Akindayomi primarily preached in Yoruba, he began serving as the church's interpreter, translating sermons into English. What seemed like a simple act of service became God's way of preparing him for future leadership. He immersed himself in Bible study, prayer, and evangelism while continuing his academic career for a time.

From Lecturer to Global Church Leader

Pastor Adeboye was ordained as a pastor in 1975. After the passing of Rev. Josiah Akindayomi, he was appointed the General Overseer of RCCG in 1981. At that time, the church had only a few dozen parishes. Under his leadership, RCCG expanded into one of the world's largest Pentecostal denominations, with churches in well over 190 countries.

Your Story Can Change Today

Pastor E.A. Adeboye's life is a reminder that no amount of education, success, religion, or achievement can take the place of a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. His encounter with Christ on July 29, 1973, changed not only his life but also the lives of millions around the world.

The same Jesus who transformed a young mathematics lecturer into a global servant of God is still calling people today.

If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, today can become the greatest day of your life. The Bible says:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." — Romans 10:9 (KJV)

If You Would Like to Give Your Life to Christ, Pray This Prayer Sincerely

"Lord Jesus, I come to You today just as I am. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again on the third day. Today, I repent of my sins and ask You to forgive me. Wash me with Your precious blood and make me a new creation. I receive You as my Lord and my Savior. From today, I choose to follow You all the days of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, help me to live for You, and write my name in the Book of Life. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen."

Welcome to the Family of God!

If you prayed that prayer sincerely, according to God's Word, you have begun a new life in Christ. This is not the end of your journey—it is the beginning of a wonderful walk with God.

To continue growing in your faith:

🎯 Read your Bible every day.
🎯 Pray daily and develop a personal relationship with God.
🎯 Join a Bible-believing church where you can worship, learn, and grow.
🎯 Share your decision with someone and let others know what Christ has done for you.
🎯 Trust God each day as He transforms your life by His Word.

Just as July 29, 1973, became Pastor E.A. Adeboye's day of new birth, may today become the day your own story of grace begins. May God bless you and keep you steadfast in Him. Amen.

Deuteronomy 11:19 states, “Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”

Your child’s salvation isn’t your obligation: our responsibility is to teach them the Word and how to understand it, praying for them continually, and role modeling what living in Christ looks like.

Paul said in 2 Thessalonians, “God will pay back those who persecute you. And He will provide rest for you who are being persecuted.” Maybe you’re in a situation that’s not fair. People who are jealous, playing politics, leaving you out. God sees the injustice. He sees you doing the right thing, taking the high road, overlooking the offense. Your time is coming. There is a moment God has already scheduled to turn things in your favor. What you couldn’t make happen will suddenly fall into place: the vindication, the promotion, the honor. Don’t sweat the persecution. You wouldn’t be persecuted if you weren’t blessed. People would leave you alone if you weren’t that talented. You wouldn’t have opposition if you weren’t a masterpiece, making a difference. Nobody would be talking about you if you were average, ordinary. You wouldn’t have any critics. The fact that you have persecution is a sign that the blessing of God is on your life. He’s promised that rest is coming. It’s not always going to be a struggle. You’re strong, you can withstand, but that’s not how your story ends. God’s going to lighten the load, lift that burden where it’s not a struggle. You don’t have to overlook the injustice anymore. God is going to step in and pay back those who persecute you and give you rest. From a season of struggling to a season of ease.

MANY PEOPLE ARE SIMPLY FOOLISH.

If four months' salary cannot take care of your rent, you are in the wrong house.

So, as I'm talking now, start thinking. Find out if you are in the wrong house. It's another person's house.

You say, "I like my privacy." You are under attack. I'm telling you. It is when you are blessed that you become private.

What are you privatizing? What's wrong with you?

These are conversations you would think we had done with since 2014, yet we are still having the conversation in 2025. Somebody is still trusting God for rent.

If you rent a house that costs six or seven months' salary, then what are you going to use the remaining months for?

You would think this thing is common sense, but it's not.

You say, "Where will I keep my load? I have load. My load is so much. I need like two rooms to keep it."

You even have load, but you don't have where to keep it.

I've gone through a lot as a pastor, traumatizing conversations.

You have load.

My whole world was in one room. My whole world was in one room in my father's house, with the picture frames they gave me in different schools.

Did it stop what is happening now? No.

I never asked God for rent money one day because I never lived in a house that required prayer.

No pressure.

It's because you're online. That's why you're under pressure. You're online.

Delete Instagram. Go one year without it. Nobody will miss you. I assure you.

Anyone who tells you they miss you is deceiving you.

Stop that nonsense.

Nobody is looking for you online. They are already on your WhatsApp. Your world is on WhatsApp.

Build quietly and come out when it is time.

You don't even need to show them. You have nothing to show anybody. Just make progress with your life.

I made a vow: if I buy something, I can buy it three times. That's the principle I work with.

Once you see me buy a thing, I can buy it how many times?

Three times.

Some things I'll buy, I can buy ten times. That's when I'll get it.

No pressure.

Once it looks like you want to mount pressure on me, I cut you off.

Don't put me under any pressure.

I should not sleep, wake up, and it's not Jesus that's making my heart beat; it's something in this world.

Build quietly.

Later, they will come back and say, "Ah, we now understand."

Is somebody following what I'm saying?

More than four decades ago, the late Dr. Pat Robertson introduced the Bible to Japan through CBN's Superbook, an animated Bible series originally created for Japanese children.

Today, that vision continues to bear fruit in remarkable ways. Not only is Superbook reaching a new generation of children, but it is also introducing elderly Japanese to the Gospel for the very first time.

What began as a media ministry has grown into something much bigger—opening doors for the launch of CBN Japan and expanding Christian outreach across the nation.

A TikToker from England who spent years defending Islam to more than 100,000 followers is speaking out about his decision to follow Christ — describing the theological doubts, death threats from former supporters, and a series of vivid dreams involving Jesus that ultimately changed the course of his life. Before publicly embracing Christianity, Kieos had spent years creating Islamic content & defending Islam to an audience of more than 100,000 followers.

Kieos is clear that leaving Islam was not a sudden or dramatic departure. "It was definitely a slow, gradual process."

Then, a striking moment in Kieos' journey came. On three consecutive nights, he says he dreamed of Jesus — an experience he still finds difficult to fully explain.

"I never have dreams," he told Britannia Daily. He acknowledges the psychological interpretation but says it does not account for his specific circumstances. "People could argue that if I were looking at images of Jesus, they could be brought forward in my subconscious whilst sleeping. But I never did, which makes it strange."
