Friends,

We finished the construction of sponsored elementary school almost 13 years ago. With the help of donors in the USA and members of the local community in Ghana, we were able to provide a safe learning environment for nearly 500 children who regularly attend. This is an amazing impact that couldn't have been achieved without you. For that, we are thankful.

However, over the years, the school has been battered with many storms with strong wind and rain. Unfortunately, mother nature damaged the windows, doors, drainage and many other foundational issues that need to be addressed. Again, with your help, we were able to provide a much needed facelift to repair and renovate the elementary school building for the next generation of children.

As a next step, we need to come together with the community to construct bathrooms and a teachers office. The bathroom can improve sanitation and health. The teacher's office is important, as currently, lesson planning is done outside in a tent if the other classrooms are occupied. In addition, improved facilities for teachers will help attract better educators to the village.
