MY HEARTFELT MESSAGE TO BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO LEFT HOME THE HARD WAY TO GO ABROAD.
To all the young men and women who dream of leaving And to those who already have..
This is not a warning.
This is a cry from the heart.😭
You leave your home not because you are weak…
But because you are desperate.
You sell what little you have,
You say goodbye to your mother’s tears,😢
You walk into deserts that devour the living,
You step onto boats not knowing if the sea will carry you to Europe or bury you
You risk it all for a place that never promised you anything.
But when you arrive .....
You are not welcomed with open arms.
You are not handed gold or freedom.
No...
You find yourself doing the very work you once looked down on back home.
Cleaning homes. Digging ditches. Serving people who don’t even look you in the eye.
Sleeping in rooms not fit for animals.
Only now, you do it in silence.
With fear in your heart.
With a chain around your dignity.
You are called “foreigner.”
You are called “illegal.”
You are not welcomed — only used.
Some of you end up in prison cells, cold and forgotten.
Some of you lie unburied in strange lands( dessert and Oceans)😭
Some of you… never come back.
your last breath taken in a country that never knew your name.
And the world moves on…
while your mother still waits by the door,
hoping for a call that will never come.
So I ask you...
If you can suffer in silence abroad,
Why not struggle with pride at home?
If your hands can build their cities,
Why not use them to build your own?
If your back can carry their burden,
Why not carry your country forward?
There is no shame in working the soil that raised you.
There is no dishonor in starting small at home.
But there is deep, deep sorrow
In dying far away — alone, forgotten —
Chasing a dream that turned into a nightmare.
So before you leave…
Before you step into the sea,
Before you vanish into the unknown…
Remember this:
Not every journey leads to life.
But the journey you begin at home — with faith, with effort, with unity —
That journey may lead to something far greater than survival.
It may lead to dignity.
To purpose.
To true freedom.
Stay. Build. Live.
Because your life is worth more than a visa,
More than a wage,
More than a silent death in a land that does not know your name.
Thank you for feeling the pain behind the words,🙏
