We are excited to announce to you that on the 25th of September, 2024 the "Mentor Her Project" was launched in a grand style.
The participants included one hundred and fifty nine students from fourteen schools, 14 teachers, our distinguished guests, the seasoned speakers together with the AYEYI IMPACT FOUNDATION team.
The guest speaker represented by Miss GIFTY N-YANYI, the Chief Executive Officer of Kpassa Rural Bank Ltd expressed her gratitude to the foundation for coming up with such a great initiative which provides solutions to an ancient problems of girls within the Nkwanta North District.
She added that there is the need for collaboration from all stakeholders in supporting this initiative since it has the ability to transform the lives of these girls.
Miss GIFTY N-YANYI who was also the chairperson for the program expressed her excitement for given the opportunity to serve in the capacity as the chairperson. According to her, she never knew a woman can chair a program where men are available. She said for her given the opportunity to chair a program for the first time in her life confirms that the Mentor Her Project is a game changer for girls.
Other seasoned speakers, Mr Jaween Charles the District Guidance and Counseling Coordinator, Miss Afi Yayra Zioklui Danso the High Court Registrar, Judicial service -Kpassa, Ms Faustina Donkor the Regional Patron, New Patriotic Party - Oti, Madam Rejoice Mawutor Blame Tutor and House mistress, Kpassa Senior High Technical School delivered seasoned messages respectively.
These include messages on the important of positive role modeling, opportunities for the 21st century girls, how to position oneself to be mentored.
There was a choreography performance from Kpassa D A Basic B4 students after which the Mentor Her Project was launched officially.
