*DKAMF Tree Planting Update - June 2025*

On June 30, 2025, a significant tree planting initiative took place at the Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary Forest, where 30 trees were successfully planted.

This initiative was a collaborative effort between:

- UTSA
- Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary
- University of Energy and Natural Resources (Tourism Department)
- ASP
- IPS
- Leakey Foundation

DK Akowuah Memorial Foundation (DKAMF) provided support for this initiative, alongside the people of Boabeng.

The program also included a community cleanup exercise and educational talks, targeting the people of Boabeng and students from Boabeng D/A Basic and Heritage Academy.

With this addition, DKAMF has now planted a total of 161 trees out of its target of 1,000 trees for the year.

We celebrate this milestone and look forward to continued partnerships in environmental conservation.

We are thrilled to share a heartwarming milestone in our Graceland Community and Forest project. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our cherished volunteers and contributors, we've laid the foundation for a new, loving home for underprivileged children. Our volunteers have not only planted trees in our growing forest but have also nurtured these trees alongside the children. Each tree symbolizes hope, growth, and a new beginning, lovingly cared for by a child and supported by our dedicated project coordinators.

This remarkable journey wouldn't be possible without the selfless donations of time, money, and materials from individuals and groups who believe in our cause. To every volunteer and donor, we extend our deepest gratitude. But our mission doesn’t end here. We invite NGOs, corporate groups, individuals, and families to join us in completing this sanctuary. Your continued support will help us build a home where every underprivileged child can thrive.
Together, we can transform Graceland Community and Forest into a beacon of hope, one tree and one child at a time.

Imagine a childhood without a safe haven, a future without hope. This was the reality for many young souls, until they found their way to Graceland Community and Forest.

Today, on World Environment Day, we honor the resilience of these children and the power of nature to heal and transform.

In a world where trees are falling, hope is rising. With every tree planted, a child's dream takes root. With every donation, a life is changed.

Join us in nurturing a brighter future for our children and our planet. Plant a tree, make a donation, and watch hope grow.

Together, let's create a world where every child can thrive, surrounded by the beauty and wonder of nature.
