In partnership with volunteers, we were able to teach the concepts of VSLA (Village Savings and Loans Associations) and successfully established a group of women in Takuve, a community in the Volta region of Ghana to start a VSLA.
Majority of these women are Farmers, farming different kinds of crops . We believe this initiative will enable our beneficiaries become more self sufficient and also have access to cash and credits which can allow them to Improve upon their farming activities .
Which is one of the main reasons why is encouraging more women to join this initiative.
We believe this project will empower women and also reduce poverty by financially and socially empowering them to save their monies and have access to loans in order to expand their businesses and cater for their children’s needs.
