COMMUNITY IMPACT – INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2026
ANU Foundation successfully organized an impactful International Women’s Day celebration under the theme “Give to Gain” at St. Augustine SHTS, Charikpong.
The event brought together over 400 participants including chiefs, elders, youth leaders, women groups, teachers, parents, and students from the Saa and Sampina communities.
Distinguished resource persons from the health and social welfare sectors shared valuable knowledge on health, child protection, and the importance of educating the girl child.
The program inspired young girls to believe in themselves, pursue education, and become future leaders in their communities.
As part of our long-term vision, ANU Foundation is introducing Boys and Girls Clubs to provide continuous mentorship and guidance to students.
We sincerely appreciate Madam Getrude for sponsoring this meaningful initiative and everyone who supported us in making this program a success.
Together, we can empower more young people and build stronger communities.
📩 We welcome partnerships and support to expand our impact.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2026 CELEBRATION
The ANU Foundation is proud to celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day under the theme:
Give to Gain
On 8th March 2026, we will be in the Saa-Sampina community at St. Augustine SHTS-CHARIKPONG to empower, inspire, and encourage young girls to embrace education and rise above limitations such as teenage pregnancy.
This impactful program is proudly sponsored by a native of the community who is passionate about giving back and investing in the future of young girls.
Our focus is to: Promote the importance and benefits of education
✔ Encourage mothers to support the girl child
✔ Inspire young girls to dream bigger
✔ Serve as positive role models
Together, we believe that when we give, we gain — stronger girls, stronger families, and a stronger community.
Join us as we celebrate, empower, and uplift!
