Two Pillars, One Heritage. 🤝🏾

A beautiful moment captured in the spirit of Moshie unity, respect and tradition.

Standing together are Alhaji Fuad Umar, Sardauna of the Yadega Moshie Community, Ghana, and Alhaji Arab Adam Al Ameer, Vice President of the Asanteman Moshie Association.

Different responsibilities, one shared heritage — preserving our history, strengthening our bonds and carrying the legacy of our forefathers forward.

Moshie unity is our strength. Our heritage is our pride. Our brotherhood is our legacy.

A GLIMPSE INTO OUR PAST

A photograph from 1986, preserving a beautiful moment in the history of the Moshie community in the Ashanti Region.

Standing together in this treasured archive are four respected figures of our community:

• Alhaji Danlad
• Alhaji Issah Zomah (UK)
• Alhaji Bala Plywood
• Alhaji Ibrahim Nabure, the late Waziri of the Moshie Community, Ashanti Region

The photograph was taken in 1986, during a marriage ceremony of one of Alhaji Issah Zomah UK’s children.

Beyond the faces captured in this photograph lies a story of leadership, brotherhood, service and community, reminding us of the generation whose dedication helped shape the Moshie community we know today.

📜 Our history is our identity. Our elders are our living archives.

As we share this precious piece of history, we invite members of the Moshie community, especially the younger generation, to look, learn and remember.

Do you have memories or stories about these respected elders? Share them with us in the comments.

🌙 RABI’ AL-AWWAL MUBARAK | THE MONTH OF RASULULLAH ﷺ 🕌

The Asanteman Moshie Association extends warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to the entire Moshie community, the Zongo communities, and Muslims across Ghana as we welcome the blessed month of Rabi’ al-Awwal, the month associated with the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

As we celebrate this sacred month, may we reflect on the life, character, mercy and teachings of Rasulullah ﷺ, and strive to embody his values of peace, love, unity, compassion and brotherhood.

May Allah bless our families, strengthen our communities, accept our acts of worship and grant us the grace to follow the noble Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

Rabi’ al-Awwal Mubarak to us all. 🌙🤲🏾
