On 22 October 2026, partners, educators, researchers, and innovation actors from Europe and Africa will come together for a day of learning, exchange, and conversation around Web 4.0, entrepreneurship, and the future of vocational education and training.

Hosted by ibis_acam , the conference will bring together ideas and experiences from across the UNVEIL project as we reflect on what has been learned and what comes next.

For Daniel from Emerging Communities, Nigeria, the UNVEIL project has been a valuable experience and a reminder of how quickly technology is changing the way we work, learn, and build.

His message is simple: Web 4.0 is here to stay, and when it is combined with entrepreneurship, it creates real opportunities for the future.

He also points to the need for more initiatives that help people keep up with new technologies, build confidence in using them, and support others to do the same.

The Ghana workshop was hosted by HapaSpace, bringing together partners and participants to learn, exchange ideas, and explore what Web 4.0 can mean in practice.

One of the participants from the UNVEIL Workshop in Ghana, hosted by HapaSpace, reflects on how useful the experience was and why these conversations matter now.

For them, Web 4.0 is not something far off in the future. It is already here, and combining it with entrepreneurship opens up new possibilities for how people learn, build and create value.

They also make an important point: we need more programmes like this to help people keep pace with changing technology and, just as importantly, help others understand and use it too.

A simple reminder that digital transformation works best when people are carried along with it.

For Akua, a student from Kumasi Technical University, one of the biggest lessons from the UNVEIL Workshop in Ghana was that entrepreneurship is not only about having a good idea. It is about using technology intelligently to create something useful and make a real difference.

She also reflects on the role of AI, not as a replacement for people, but as a tool that can strengthen what people are already capable of doing.

Her takeaway is simple: the future is not something we wait for. We prepare for it by learning, adapting, and building the skills to take part in it.
