ROTARY CLUB OF KUMASI-EAST SUPPORTS EDUCATION THROUGH DONATION TO PATASI M/A JHS

As part of its commitment to promoting quality education and supporting the academic development of young learners, the Rotary Club of Kumasi-East successfully undertook an educational support project at Patasi M/A Junior High School.

The Club donated a variety of learning materials to students, including:

• 450 Exercise Books
• 50 Mathematical Sets
• 200 Pens
• 100 Pencils

The project, with a total value of GH¢6,000, was aimed at easing the burden on students and their families while providing essential learning resources to enhance teaching and learning.

ROTARY CLUB OF KUMASI-EAST COMMISSIONS MECHANISED BOREHOLE AND DONATES EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AT NINTIN

On Friday, June 5, 2026, the Rotary Club of Kumasi-East successfully commissioned a mechanised borehole and donated educational materials to the people and schoolchildren of Nintin in the Mampong Municipality.

The project, valued at GH¢70,000, was undertaken to improve access to clean and safe drinking water while supporting quality education within the community. The mechanised borehole is expected to provide a sustainable source of potable water, contributing to improved health, sanitation, and well-being. The educational materials donated will enhance teaching and learning and help create a conducive environment for academic success.

This intervention reflects Rotary's unwavering commitment to community service and sustainable development through impactful projects that address critical needs.

In line with Rotary's commitment to improving community health and well-being, the Rotary Club of Kumasi-East successfully undertook a humanitarian project by donating psychiatric medicines valued at GHS 40,000 to the Psychiatric Department of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital on 26th May 2026.
The donation was aimed at supporting mental health care delivery and easing the burden on patients who depend on the facility for treatment and medication. The project reflects the Club's dedication to promoting access to quality healthcare and supporting vulnerable members of society.
The medicines donated included:
Injection Diazepam – 450 ampoules
Injection Chlorpromazine – 100 ampoules
Olanzapine 10mg (30's) – 10 packs
Olanzapine 10mg (100's) – 10 packs
Olanzapine 5mg (30's) – 25 packs
Artane 5mg (500's) – 20 packs
Citalopram 20mg (30's) – 20 packs
Lamotrigine 100mg (56's) – 10 packs
Phenobarbitone 30mg (500's) – 20 packs
Risperidone 2mg (28's) – 15 packs
Risperidone 1mg (20's) – 10 packs
Clozapine 100mg (50's) – 5 packs
Fluoxetine 20mg (100's) – 9 packs
Carbamazepine 200mg (200's) – 19 packs
