We are proud to work with skilled professionals in Ghana who create specialist equipment for children with physical disabilities 🇬🇭💛

From custom-made walking frames, callipers, and crutches to standing frames and adaptive seating, these talented experts use their knowledge, precision, and creativity to design equipment that fits each child’s unique needs.

They also make thoughtful adaptations and adjustments, modifying straps, seating positions, foot supports, and height so that every child can use their equipment safely, comfortably, and confidently.

Their craftsmanship transforms lives ✨

Thanks to generous fundraising efforts, we recently provided a specialist adaptive chair and standing frame for students at Agape Love Inclusive School 💙

This equipment allows children with physical disabilities to stand safely, stretch their leg muscles, build lower body strength, and take part in fun learning activities using the attachable desk.

It’s already boosting confidence, independence, and participation in school life. 🌟

Raymond is a kind, funny, and popular 11-year-old who attends Agape Love Inclusive School. He takes part in mainstream lessons but also needs additional therapy and care for his physical disability.

Over time, he outgrew his previous callipers (leg braces) and crutches. Without properly fitted equipment, he had to rely on walls or other people to move around, making it difficult for him to attend school regularly. As a result, he was missing lessons far too often.

But thanks to recent fundraising efforts, we were able to support Raymond and his mum to visit a fantastic local orthotics hospital, where he was fitted for brand-new callipers and crutches!

Raymond loves his new equipment, and he hasn’t missed a single day of school since. 💛✨

Specialist equipment, such as leg braces and crutches, is essential in enabling children to join in with their peers, participate fully in school life, and access physiotherapy that helps them grow stronger and more independent every day.

🌟 A massive thank you to Harry and everyone who supported him in his fundraising challenge! 🌟

Last year, Harry took on an incredible challenge and ran his first ever marathon - 26.2 miles! Now that is impressive. And he did it all while raising funds for Family First Ghana! 💛🏃‍♂️

With every step he took, Harry helped raise funds for children in Ghana with physical disabilities. Thanks to his amazing effort, Harry raised £423, and every penny went directly towards providing specialist mobility equipment, including leg braces, crutches, standing frames, and adaptive seating.

Harry, thank you for running and helping create brighter futures for children in Ghana. We are so grateful! 🙌💛

As we begin another wonderful year at Family First Ghana, we’ve been spending time meeting with the children, young people, and families we support to review and renew their care plans. Building strong relationships and working closely with families is at the heart of what we do. Listening to their wishes, hopes, and goals is how we ensure we can make a meaningful difference for the young people we support 💛
Thank you for being part of this journey!

We are Hiring!

We are incredibly grateful to have received a grant that allows us to continue to expand our support for Agape Love Inclusive School.

As the school continues to grow, we now have students on a waitlist for admission, and we are looking to welcome a full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher to help strengthen and develop our SEN department.

This new position will enable us to divide into two classrooms... one supporting older students with a focus on academic and vocational learning and another for younger students, who benefit from a more therapeutic and sensory-based approach to support their learning and development.

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated teacher to join our efforts in making a meaningful difference for the students and to be part of a supportive, growing team.

📢 Please share our poster, or feel free to get in touch with any questions or to express interest. We’d love to hear from you!
