🎉 Climaxing May Measurement Month 2026 – Raising Awareness, Saving Lives! 🎉
Yesterday marked the successful climax of our May Measurement Month (Hypertension Awareness Creation Campaign) at the Kumasi City Mall.
This impactful initiative was organized by Spot Stroke Fast Foundation in collaboration with KATH Internal Medicine, the Ghanaian Society of Cardiology (Ashanti Zone), and Heartlink, with the goal of promoting awareness on hypertension and encouraging early detection through free health screenings.
In addition to today's event, similar screening exercises were successfully held at Asafo Market on 16th May and Bantama Methodist Church on 30th May. Across all three locations, hundreds of individuals benefited from free blood pressure and health screenings, while referrals were made for those requiring urgent medical attention and further medical evaluation.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our partners, volunteers, healthcare professionals, and community members whose support and dedication made this campaign a resounding success. Together, we have taken another important step toward reducing the burden of hypertension and cardiovascular diseases in our communities.
A special thank you to KATH Internal Medicine, the Ghanaian Society of Cardiology (Ashanti Zone), Heartlink, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible.
As we celebrate the impact made this year, we look forward to an even bigger, more impactful event next year.
