Volunteer Spotlight!! 🏆

Michelle Serwaa Kwarteng (BSc Natural Resources Management)

Michelle was the driving force behind our 5-day high-impact community engagement and field survey in the Sui River Forest Reserve.

Her energy was infectious, and her passion unmatched. For her tireless dedication, exceptional field efforts, fervent commitment and for making the adventure truly unforgettable, we celebrate a froggy 🐸 heroine today. 🌿🔥

“Before this field trip, my perception of amphibians was quite limited. However, I now understand their ecological importance as bioindicators. Their sensitivity to environmental changes makes them essential in assessing ecosystem health. This experience has significantly increased my interest in amphibian conservation”

Keep an eye on Michelle. She’s poised to redefine herpetology across Africa and the global stage and we can’t wait to watch her rise as a leading voice in African herpetology 🌍 🐸 🦎!

Thank you, Synchronicity Earth and From the Brink for making this adventure possible through your generous funding.

Protecting nature, securing the future!

Our volunteers had meaningful discussions and impactful moments with the Sefwi Yawkrom Junior High School and our community beekeepers and field assistants!

Students learned the vital role of conserving the Giant Squeaker Frog and the Sui River Forest, while getting motivated to excel in their studies!"

Beyond just listening, we delve into actionable conservation strategies with the beekeepers and field assistants, documenting the real-world challenges they face on the front lines.

This impact wouldn’t have been possible without your funding Synchronicity Earth From the Brink
