Peace and Love Hospital Survivors Association (PALSA) is committed to bring together those who have survived breast cancer to serve as role models to other newly diagnosed patients. Create a network of survivors to support peer and nurse navigation
Encourage and motivate newly diagnosed patients to continue with the treatment
Address the needs of newly diagnosed breast cancer patients while undergoing treatment
Provide access to resources to members to meet emotional, physical and spiritual needs of survivors
Be part of the movement towards early detection and treatment of breast cancer
Currently, PALSA is collaborating with community nurses in the peer-nurse navigation program with the aim of Helping Others through Personal Experience (HOPE) in order to support the newly diagnosed patients through their treatment journey to avoid defaulting in their treatment after they have been diagnosed.
