*All work and no play makes jack a dull boy*
After weeks of hard work, most visitors especially students take time to explore Ghana before heading home. It’s their reward for completing an internship, and honestly, they’ve earned it.

That’s exactly what Cato, Karo, Morane, and Nele did after finishing their internship in Kpando, Volta Region. From the forests to the coast, they made time to relax, laugh, and soak in Ghana.

They walked the Kakum Canopy Walkway high above the trees. They stood inside the walls of Elmina Castle and felt the weight of history. They marveled at Nzulezu, the village on stilts, and caught waves in Busua where the surf meets golden sand.

It was all about chilling, bonding, and making memories after long days of work in Kpando.
Cato, Karo, Morane, and Nele ,you were amazing students. Sharp, respectful, and full of life. Emo and the whole team really enjoyed having you around.
Go make your mark on the world. Ghana and Emo foundation will always be here to welcome you back.

"Our visitors from Belgium, Odisee, Thomas More and KdG are totally getting immersed in the energy of our cultural dance night! 💃 The beats of the borborbor drums are getting everyone on their feet, and they're loving every moment of it 😊. From the traditional borborbor dance to the foot-stamping Agbadza moves, it's a night of pure thrill and cultural connection! 🕺

2026 1st of February Emo foundation hosted intern Nursing student of Odisee from Belgium who’s aim of travel is to

1. Interned two weeks in Ghana at the hospital (Margareth Marquat, Anfoega Hospital)

3. Special school.

4. Tourism.

The nursing student of Odisee interned their two weeks at Margareth Marquat, Anfoega Hospital respectively where they gained practical experience doing basic health checks, learning from qualified nurses and doctors, expanding their knowledge and making their resume stand out.

Our student nursing interns students did involve in wound care to our community schools and the Prisons where they did proper wound care which involves cleaning, protecting and maintaining wound surfaces of individuals.

The nursing students from family science interned at the special school where the interacted with students and learned about the importance work done to support them, teaching of the special students, engage them in games like football, parachute play, had a wound care. The visit at the special school was truly heartwarming.

The Ghana tour was an amazing way to get away to release the stress off, so we made a special tour to explore our rich heritage where we visit sites like Tafi Monkey Sanctuary, Wli water falls, Kpando tour where they visited the town’s landmarks, the market, the chief’s palace, the historic catholic building in the region, took a boat cruise on the volta lake (man-made lake) visited the island. Were delighted to share that our Odisee students from Belgium have successfully completed their internship with us, unforgettable experience for our interns where they get immersed in our culture, A big thank you to everyone involved.
