BBF Foundation Engages Artisans on Skills Development and Youth Empowerment
On 21st September 2025, the BBF Foundation, in collaboration with the National Youth Authority (NYA) and the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), held an insightful engagement with artisans at the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly Hall.
The session, facilitated by Mr. Emmanuel Asare, focused on how skills training and career guidance can enhance youth participation in governance and reduce unemployment.
Key speakers, including Miss Evelyn Lotsu (Eastern Regional NYA Director) and Mr. Donkor Clement (District Director, NCCE), encouraged artisans to embrace discipline, mentorship, and continuous learning.
Participants also learned about the National Apprenticeship Program, which provides free one-year training, monthly stipends, and start-up support to young people nationwide.
The engagement reminded all that empowering artisans is key to national growth — when youth gain skills, they gain purpose, dignity, and a voice in governance. 🇬🇭
