🛺 BBF Foundation Engages Pragya Drivers on Road Safety and Civic Responsibility

The BBF Foundation, in partnership with the Motor Traffic and Transport Directorate (MTTD), organized a Road Safety Program to enhance youth and artisan participation in governance and improve safety practices among three-wheeler (Pragya) drivers in Koforidua.

Chief Inspector Alexander Nanfam and Chief Inspector Nelson Ndutey led practical discussions on road safety regulations, legal compliance, and responsible driving practices.

Pragya drivers raised key concerns including multiple ticket collections, transparency in revenue usage, and welfare support from the Assembly. Officers provided clear answers and emphasized proper dressing, avoiding drug use while driving, and ensuring valid licences at all times.

The session ended with actionable guidance and reassurance of continued support, strengthening collaboration between drivers and law enforcement.

BBF Foundation Engages Artisans on Skills Development and Youth Empowerment

On 21st September 2025, the BBF Foundation, in collaboration with the National Youth Authority (NYA) and the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), held an insightful engagement with artisans at the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly Hall.

The session, facilitated by Mr. Emmanuel Asare, focused on how skills training and career guidance can enhance youth participation in governance and reduce unemployment.

Key speakers, including Miss Evelyn Lotsu (Eastern Regional NYA Director) and Mr. Donkor Clement (District Director, NCCE), encouraged artisans to embrace discipline, mentorship, and continuous learning.
Participants also learned about the National Apprenticeship Program, which provides free one-year training, monthly stipends, and start-up support to young people nationwide.

The engagement reminded all that empowering artisans is key to national growth — when youth gain skills, they gain purpose, dignity, and a voice in governance. 🇬🇭

Speakers from the Municipal Assembly and National Youth Authority (NYA) also encouraged students to build skills, volunteer, and take active roles in community development.

It was a day filled with learning, motivation, and empowerment — reminding us that when the youth rise, the community thrives, and the nation progresses! 🇬🇭
