π¨ NYINGALI CHPS COMPOUND: THE BUILDING IS READY, BUT WHERE ARE THE HEALTH SERVICES? π¨
On 29 October 2024, the project site for the Nyingali CHPS Compound was officially handed over to the contractor. The community welcomed the project with great hope, knowing it would bring healthcare closer to our people.
Today, the CHPS Compound building appears completed. However, the facility remains non-operational.
The questions on the minds of the people of Nyingali are simple:
β When will the CHPS Compound be commissioned?
β When will health workers be posted to the facility?
β When will the necessary equipment and supplies be provided?
β Why has the facility remained idle despite the investment made with public funds?
Our mothers, children, the elderly, and the entire community deserve access to healthcare without having to travel long distances.
We appreciate the efforts made to construct the facility. However, a CHPS Compound achieves its purpose only when it is opened, staffed, equipped, and serving the people.
We respectfully call on: π The Karaga District Assembly
π The District Chief Executive (DCE)
π Ghana Health Service
π The Member of Parliament for Karaga
π SOCO Project Coordinators
to provide the community with an update and a clear timeline for the operationalization of the Nyingali CHPS Compound.
This is not about politics.
This is about healthcare.
This is about accountability.
This is about the wellbeing of the people of Nyingali.
Please share this post until the relevant authorities respond.
The people of Nyingali are not asking for a new project. We are simply asking that a completed project be put to use.
