Vision Aid and Care Foundation is a non-governmental financial organization that deals directly with vulnerable and less privileged women in the Ghanaian society. The overriding philosophy and vision of VACaF is to give skills training, monetary aid and financial literacy lessons to less privileged and vulnerable women in the Ghanaian society. VACaF crosses both religious and tribal barriers and b
rings together women from all backgrounds for specific empowerment seminars and training programs. VACaF facilities skill training of unskilled women in several local industries including but not limited to soap making, pastries, production of cooking oil, baking, dress making, hair styling, etc. skill training only serves as the first step in a series of capacity building strategies amongst these women. Upon completion of the training programs, VACaF also make it a point to establish each of the women by setting them up through the provision of very low interest loans with flexible payment terms. VACaF will provide comprehensive training focusing on Creativity, skill development and Professionalism.
