Yesterday we had the privilege of donating copies of Golina’s Quest, written by the founder of FSA Rita Siaw, to the pupils of Jasikan E.P. Basic School as we marked World Book Day.
This donation is more than just giving books; it is about opening doors to imagination, knowledge, and the courage to dream. Through stories like Golina’s Quest, young minds are encouraged to believe in their potential, embrace learning, and develop a lifelong love for reading.
We believe that every book placed in the hands of a child is a seed planted for the future. May these stories inspire curiosity, confidence, and the determination to pursue their own quests in life.
We are grateful to the school community for warmly receiving us and for their commitment to nurturing the next generation of readers and leaders. Thanks to Mr Eric McNeal for his kind donation which made this possible.

Today is World Pangolin Day, a day to celebrate one of the most unique and vulnerable creatures on our planet.
Here at Feminine Star Africa, we took a moment to read Golina’s Glorious Quests together, the story of a brave little pangolin teaching courage, kindness, and resilience to children.
Every page reminds us how stories can inspire young minds and connect them to the world around them.
We believe every child deserves the chance to hold a book of their own, and that’s why we are on a mission to print and donate 10,000 copies to rural schools in Ghana.
On this special day, we invite schools, companies, and organizations to join us.
Together, we can put books into the hands of children who have never owned one, nurturing imagination, confidence, and hope.
If you’d like to take part in this mission, whether by donating books, sponsoring a school, or supporting printing cost in Ghana, please reach out. Every action brings us closer to giving children the gift of stories.

Feminine Star Africa started in 2009 as a passion to support young girls who got pregnant and dropped out of school in a village called Bodada. In our attempt to curb the occurrence of such pregnancies and hep the girls to earn income and be self reliant, we thought it wise to organise seminars on s*x education and engage them in pepper farming to earn income.
After a year, we realised their interest were different and started helping one girl at a time to learn a trade or go back to school. In the year 2016, we registered Feminine Star Africa as a non-profit organisation that stands for integrity to impact the lives of women and girls by providing social interventions for their self-sufficiency and independence.
