For eight years, we've empowered rural communities with adolescent reproductive health education, menstrual hygiene awareness, and free sanitary pad distribution, thanks to generous support from friends and family. Today, we're thrilled the government is launching a free sanitary pad program for schoolgirls. This initiative will greatly benefit young girls, especially in rural areas. Empowering Adolescents and Caregivers

Today, we successfully hosted our first quarter activity at the Presby Child and Youth Development Centre in Mafi Devime in the Central Tongu District. The program, designed to educate and empower adolescents and their caregivers, focused on the importance of sexual purity, the role of participants in maintaining it, and the responsibilities of caregivers in supporting them.

Over 80 enthusiastic young people and caregivers attended the program, which featured insightful talks on the significance of sexual purity and its impact on physical, emotional, and mental well-being. The speakers also emphasized the crucial role of caregivers in guiding and supporting adolescents in maintaining sexual purity.

To make the program more interactive, participants were divided into groups for discussions and presentations on the topic. This engaging approach allowed participants to share their thoughts, ask questions, and learn from each other.

The program was a resounding success, with participants and caregivers expressing their gratitude for the informative and engaging sessions.

At Girl Today Woman Tomorrow, we remain committed to empowering girls and young women to make informed decisions about their lives and bodies.
