The Volta Regional YMCA successfully organised a 2-day Regional Governance and Volunteer Capacity Building Workshop under the Organisational Development pillar of the Stronger Y’s Project.
Bringing together branch executives, regional officers, and committed members, the training focused on strengthening governance systems, clarifying leadership roles, improving membership development, and enhancing engagement strategies across the region.
Facilitated by Rev. Eric Gle (Regional Patron) and Mr. Edem Roger Kudiabor (Vice President), and coordinated by Regional Director Mr. Matthew Amuzu, the sessions delivered practical, hands-on insights to empower participants in their respective branches.
Participants described the workshop as insightful and impactful, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to drive growth and strengthen their local YMCAs.
Regional President, Mr. Michael Yao Dogba, commended the leadership and facilitators for a successful programme and encouraged participants to translate learning into action for sustainable impact.
This initiative marks another important milestone in advancing the mission of the Ghana YMCA and building stronger, more effective YMCAs across the Volta Region.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Ghana YMCA and our partners, YWCA-YMCA Sweden (), for their continued support of the Stronger Y’s Project.
