Freeworld International LBG NGO set up to fight against diseases, poverty, illiteracy and social injustice through Education and Training.

Freeworld International (FI) is a non-governmental organisation based in Krapa, Ejisu in Ashanti Region, Ghana. Our main areas of concentration are: Education, Health, Agriculture, Water and Sanitation, Women and Youth Empowerment, Environment and affordable housing. The organisation is registered with the Registrar General Department and the Department of Social Welfare in Ghana. Our vision:
A world in which people are free from diseases, poverty, illiteracy, social injustice and other social challenges. Our mission:
To improve the quality of life in vulnerable communities through the design and implementation of impactful and sustainable programs, specifically targeting youth, women, and children.

As part of our Safe Work Project, we took to the airwaves on Kastle FM in Cape Coast for a powerful radio programme that explored gender norms and how they shape opportunities, women's participation in decision-making and community life, safeguarding, and the referral pathways that help people know where to turn when they need support.
Every person deserves to live, work and worship in a safe and respectful environment, and when women and girls participate fully, our whole community grows stronger.

We sincerely appreciate the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly, particularly the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, for its leadership and continued support for the SAFE-WORK Project.
At the Assembly’s recent general meeting, the Mayor formally introduced the project to the House, recognising the partnership between Freeworld International LBG and the Assembly and the ongoing work in Abura, Eyifua, Pedu and Siwdu.
We also acknowledge the contributions of our community stakeholders, Assembly Members, implementing partners and agencies supporting this initiative. Together, we are working towards more inclusive, gender-responsive and enabling environments for young women.
