At the sidelines of our training and education of young school children on how to make use of the available local nutritious food in their homes under our Green Meals for Change project, we made the girls display their skills in the local dance called "tora" and ampe to energise them and refresh their minds after sitting for hours.

THIS SHOULD NOT BE NORMAL.

No child should go to school feeling ashamed, distracted, or inferior because of a torn uniform.
A child who does not feel neat, confident, and dignified cannot learn at their best.

At Zanzugu Yipala in the Central Gonja District and many schools in the Savannah Region, many children attend school every day in torn and worn-out uniforms. These children are willing to learn but their conditions affect their confidence, focus, and psychological readiness to learn.

We at HOCPY Ghana believe every child deserves dignity in education.

🎒Our goal is to Provide 20 new school uniforms to children who urgently need them by the end of February.

Dear Young People, the Future is in Your Hands

What is happening in Gbiniyiri is a painful reminder of how land disputes and conflicts steal our future. Over 48,000 lives have been displaced, with children and women most affected. Homes are gone, hope is shattered, and our culture is burning.

But here’s the truth: youth have the power to stop this cycle.
If we don’t lead the fight, conflict won’t happen. If we choose peace, unity, and dialogue, then we protect our communities, our culture, and our tomorrow.

These numbers are not just statistics. They are human lives. They are mothers, fathers, daughters, sons. They are our brothers and sisters.

💔 Children are innocent. Don’t deem their hope. 💔

The conflict in Gbiniyiri, in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District has left children scared, displaced, and uncertain about their future. They deserve peace, safety, and the chance to dream again.

At HOCPY Ghana, we are raising our voices for the children of Gbiniyiri. Violence destroys, but peace builds. Let us all come together to say: End the conflict now.

What you see in this video is not a marketplace. These are not festival returnees. 💔 These are displaced Ghanaians from Sawla-Tuna-Kalba, forced to flee into neighboring Ivory Coast to save their lives. Sadly, it is children who suffer the most — losing parents, homes, education, and hope.
Dear youth: if you don’t lead conflict, it won’t happen. If you say NO to violence, peace will prevail. Let’s build our communities, not destroy them.
