Access to basic healthcare is important and necessary to living a happy and healthy life. Unfortunately some people go years without seeing a medical professional or getting a check up. This will not only affect them today, but it may hinder them in the future as well. Thus, lack of basic healthcare comes with many consequences.
In light of the above, The Foundation partnered with Child Family Health International (CFHI), Project Abroad, Ghana and MEDICAID GHANA, on 28th May, 2016 to organize a health outreach labeled “providing basic health screenings and check-ups in Kommenda-Elmina-Eguafo-Abream (KEEA) Municipality (Saaman)” to promote healthy lifestyle options through education, good health practices, and also provided tools and interventions to sustain a healthy lifestyle in the community.
