On Friday 13th September, 2024, the QSImpAct Cape Coast Council embarked on a sensitization talk on plastic pollution and management at Ekon, a suburb of Cape Coast.
The talk was made through the local information centers where the team laid out some negative impact of improper plastic disposal and how it can be recycled for other use.
The team also stressed on plastic waste reduction by encouraging the community to adopt other means of reducing plastic pollution.
Going forward, the team will meet some opinion leaders to discuss ways of making the community one of the cleanest towns in Ghana
