Today representing the foundation, our Executive Director gave a talk at the Takoradi Air Force Complex Basic School on the theme for the International day of Women and Girls in Science.

Theme: Women in Science Leadership; a new era of sustainability.

Speaking on the theme, she encouraged the girls to commit to their academics and choose science courses in SHS as to enable them further pursue STEM programs in tertiary. They were provoked to think science and engineering when it comes to their career choices not limiting their dreams to only the regular professions they see around them. She further challenged them never to allow anyone be it friends, parents or teachers downplay their abilities to enter into the sciences but rather they should look up to those who have already achieved greater feats in their desired areas and emulate them.
