Eco-Scout Movement Of Ghana Eco-Scout Movement of Ghana is a not-for-profit NGO founded in 2012, aiming to fight and help support climate change adaptation in Ghana.

we are committed to transforming the average Ghanaian mentality regarding issues related to global warming. Throughout the years, Eco-Scout Movement has played an essential role in encouraging companies, institutions, and individuals to reduce their carbon footprints by actively participating in activities such as planting trees, leaning towards renewable energy resources, and improving sanitation

conditions. Moreover, our large-scale awareness and education programs have helped provide innovative strategies and solutions which need to be urgently adopted. While we understand that we alone cannot change the world, we believe that casting a single stone across the waters can create several ripples. The only way we can create a massive impact is if we all work together towards a common cause, with entities such as the District Assembly, Forest Commission, Environmental Protection, Local government, and of course, the common people of Ghana. Especially with the emergence of the novel COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve ensured not to let our guard down, and we urge the citizens of Ghana not to do so either. The fight against this pandemic is of paramount importance as these call for a widespread nutritional change and a mentality change. Inspired by the Sankofa bird, which means ‘to retrieve’ (literally “go back and get) in the Akan Twi and Fante languages of Ghana, we’re reminded to remain steadfast and move forward and plant a seed for the generations to come. Eco-Scout Movement follows the R5 concept, which uses rethinking, recycling, reusing, reducing, and replanting as the guiding principle to remind us that there is always room to reverse. We’re focused on initiating school ecological youth clubs, starting Smart Greening Technology projects, and implementing laws on protecting and conserving our beaches, bird’s heritage, the Mangroves, and renewable energy resources. As the effects of climate change and global warming continue to rise and affect every aspect of our lives, Eco-Scout Movement’s strategy is to ensure that Ghanaians don’t lose sight of what can be done and take real action on these grave issues.

Ecoscout Movement of Ghana wants to thank those who Supported in making our Maths set distribution to the (B.E.C.E) Candidates possible. Though we couldn´t meet our target. We were still able to do only OLA girls School making available 50 Quality Nataraj Maths sets for the candidates. This is a great achievement.. with our New OLA GIRLS ECO-GREEN CLUB. Our beautification and landscaping of the school front is ongoing. Our objective after full establishment of the Eco-green Club is to emulate it in other schools...The need to inculcate the broad spectrum about the current poor environmental and sanitation conditions we find our selves in every corner of the country is long over due to ensure a revolutionary mentality and behavioural change change towards indiscriminate littering and dumping...We start from the schools but we will move to the top level after the election to organise a consultative meeting to address the mentality of loving waste and filth culture.
