Volunteer with Ghana Foundation is a Community Based Organization (CBO) registered with the Department of Social welfare and Community Development and the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly. It was setup to provide education, health, and social care for the socially vulnerable and deprived in the Cape Coast Metropolis. In doing this, the organization will;

· Provide public health education to schools, orphanages and communities

· Advocate sustainable measures for persons with disability

· Assist tourists with information on travels and Ghana

· Train community members in areas of tourism, health and education

· Provide and promote internship opportunities for students and practitioners in the areas of health, education and tourism

In line with our vision to improve lives of people and promote community development, activities through constant professionalism, innovative and quality delivery methods are used to achieve our goals effectively and efficiently. The organization will partner organizations, health professionals, social workers, teachers and people with interest in community development and achieve these set aims and objectives.

OUR SERVICES:

Everyone is welcomed to participate in our programs. All specialties and background can join our programs and projects. We provide you with a totally different experience from what are used to. The work is exciting, challenging and rewarding. It provides you the opportunity to experience a new country, meet new people, travel, make impacts and learn new skills. Our services are packaged into two (2) main areas mainly:

· Internship Opportunities, which include the hospital, public health, social welfare, schools, orphanages, etc.

· Travel and Tour, which allow you to travel around the country, experience cultures, community work, food and festivals, etc.
