Happy 50th birthday, Madam President!

50 YEARS OF GRACE, GRATITUDE & GOD’S FAITHFULNESS β€οΈπŸ™πŸΎ

I turn 50 today and my heart is filled with nothing but gratitude.

Fifty years of life, fifty years of God’s goodness, mercy, protection and unfailing love.

When I look back, I see a journey that I could never have walked by my own strength. There have been moments of joy and moments of difficulty, seasons of celebration and seasons that tested my faith. Through it all, God has remained faithful.

I am grateful for every door God opened, every battle he fought for me, every disappointment that became a redirection, every challenge that strengthened me, and every blessing, seen and unseen that has brought me this far. I am grateful for my family, the good friends and colleagues.

At 50, I do not celebrate perfection. I celebrate grace.
οΏ½I celebrate lessons learned, lives touched, relationships built, battles survived, dreams pursued and prayers answered.

I celebrate the woman God has allowed me to become and I remain excited about the woman he is still shaping me to be.

My prayer for this new chapter is simple:

May God continue to order my steps, enlarge my capacity to serve, keep my heart humble, strengthen me for every assignment, and use my life to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Here’s to 50 years of Grace, Purpose, Service and Gratitude and to the beautiful chapters yet to come. πŸ₯‚β€οΈπŸ™πŸΎ

INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY 2026 COMMEMORATION – CENTRAL REGION

The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) – Central Region has successfully commemorated International Nurses Day 2026 under the theme:

β€œOur Nurses, Our Future : Empowered Nurse Saves Lives.”

The commemoration brought together nurses, midwives, health professionals, invited guests and stakeholders to celebrate the invaluable contributions of nurses and midwives to healthcare delivery and the wellbeing of communities.

The programme was hosted by Mr. Emmanuel Boateng Acheampong, Regional First Vice Chairman of GRNMA – Central Region, with Prof. (Mrs.) Nancy Innocentia Ebu Enyan, Lecturer at the University of Cape Coast, serving as the Special Guest of Honour.

The event was chaired by Mrs. Margaret Nyarko-Sampson, Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, Regional Health Directorate, while Prof. Jerry P. K. Ninnoni, Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, UCC, delivered the keynote address.

The celebration provided an important platform to recognise the dedication, resilience and professional contributions of nurses and midwives while highlighting the need to empower nurses with the knowledge, skills, resources and supportive environment required to save lives and shape the future of healthcare.

As the nursing profession continues to evolve, the message remains clear: when nurses are empowered, communities are strengthened and lives are saved.

πŸ‘ Happy International Nurses Day to all nurses and midwives!
