ASIGE Commemorates Menstrual Hygiene Day at Tongo

ASIGE proudly joined the global celebration of Menstrual Hygiene Day at Tongo, bringing together over 1,000 adolescent boys and girls from various schools, including students from the Gbeogo School for the Deaf.

The event created an important platform to educate young people on menstrual health, break harmful myths, promote dignity, and encourage supportive attitudes among both girls and boys.

We were honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including the Regional Head of Girl Child Education, the Regional Head of School Inspection, the Talensi District Basic and Second Cycle School Coordinator, District Girl child education officer Talensi, teachers, parents, and community members whose participation demonstrated a shared commitment to the well-being and empowerment of adolescents.

Together, we are creating a future where every girl can manage her menstruation safely, confidently, and without stigma.
