🔐 Cybersecurity Update: Protect Your Google Account with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Passwords alone are no longer enough to keep your account secure. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your Google Account to add an extra layer of protection against hackers.
✅ How to Enable 2FA:
1. Sign in to your Google Account.
2. Go to Security.
3. Under How you sign in to Google, select 2-Step Verification.
4. Click Get Started and follow the setup instructions.
5. Choose your preferred verification method:
Google Prompt (Recommended)
Authenticator App
SMS or Voice Call
Security Key
💡 Why Enable 2FA?
✔ Protects your Gmail, Google Drive, Photos, and other Google services.
✔ Prevents unauthorized access even if your password is compromised.
✔ Significantly reduces the risk of account takeover.
🛡️ Cybersecurity Tip: Use an authenticator app or a security key instead of SMS whenever possible for stronger security.
Stay secure. Stay informed.
